International Puzzle Rating Association

Participating Brand Terms

These terms govern participation by puzzle brands in the IPRA rating program.

Program scope

Version 1 accepts only 1,000-piece adult jigsaw puzzles. IPRA may reject an incomplete, ineligible, misleading, or unverifiable submission.

Accurate submissions

The participating brand must provide final, accurate product information and materials it is authorized to submit. A material change to artwork, piece count, dimensions, or production cut requires a new submission.

Rating decision

IPRA applies its current documented methodology in good faith. A rating measures expected solve difficulty and is not a product-quality, safety, age, artistic, or commercial certification. The brand may request one documented reconsideration within 30 days by identifying a factual error, omitted evidence, or inconsistent application.

Use of marks

The brand receives a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the supplied medallion only with the exact puzzle and Rating ID. The Badge Usage Rules are part of these terms.

Status and removal

IPRA may correct, replace, suspend, or withdraw a rating when the product changes, evidence was inaccurate, the mark is misused, or program integrity requires action. Historical records may remain public to preserve the audit trail.

Fees

Any fee must be disclosed before payment. Paid billing is not active unless the enrollment or submission form clearly displays an approved price and Stripe payment step.

No guaranteed outcome

Enrollment, submission, or payment does not guarantee a particular score, approval, publication date, sales result, or commercial benefit.
